Why we invested
Kubrick has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2016. The company’s success reflects its focus on the fields of data engineering, data management, machine learning, cloud engineering, and data product consultancy, where the accelerated adoption of digital technologies globally is exacerbating a major skills shortage. With its unique capabilities and a scalable business model, we saw that Kubrick had a significant opportunity to expand beyond the UK and capitalise on global demand for the brightest talent.

Kubrick has trained and deployed close to 1,000 graduates and junior professionals into data, artificial intelligence and cloud engineering roles at more than 100 blue chip clients.
Bowmark is assisting Kubrick to scale the platform and further enhance its operational capabilities, through investment in technology, systems and people. We are also supporting the business to take its unique offering outside the UK, as well as meet growing demand in new specialisms.
